Epsilon Project - Audacity (2010)

fans People Under the Stairs or vibe to the Pharcyde , know that California is full of surprises yet. If the name of Epsilon Project is unknown to you, you will be sorry to have missed their first LP 'Raising The Bar ' in 2007, very successful first test of this group. Composed of 7 members, Epsilon Project had managed to release an album organized and consistent despite the number of ego to master. After the 1 st success, here is new on the front of the stage with a relatively short 9-LP tracks 'Audacity ' listening in on their free Bandcamp . Clearly a nice gift for the beginning of summer.

If the effect of the tropical coast of California is more likely to make us fart a good record of G-Funk on their side Members of Epsilon Project would be more motivated to let go of old soul and very dense sample everything flows well with spicy edge. We forget the Pina Colada on the beach tonight is mc, DJ & Bboy Graffiti artists in the spotlight. The hunt is open and Epsilon Project track down Hip-Hop headz to stir their conscience. So conscious rap but also political rap, and after a beautiful wedding night long, first disappointed Obamania point their noses in their taking rank Epsilon Project (the title track) on a production Siez 1. Frustration and anger of a sclerotic and corrupt political system to any change, the discourse continues along disillusioned DJ Vadim , very inspired and cynical desire on America. Rap conscious and therefore true definition of Hip-Hop Project Epsilon according a fucking soul sample of Supa Koopa , Turn It Up transforms the platinum CD Bloc Party. It continues in notes happier with a wink to musical Nas (sample) on In God We Trust spiritual strength while respecting the views of each CD. Not everything is a significant achievement as Poor World and atmosphere Ragga without genius and without any real emotion. Luckily the group kept the best for dessert! The sequence of Sleeping Giant and Deranged Vets sample Guru where mcs embark on an open battle against the music industry and the sucker MC. Not at the sight of their exposure, a response to reach them.

Epsilon Project continues its merry way. Neither better nor worse than their first LP, Audacity is a cake which is assessed simply and without headaches. A rap musically tinged with hints of soul and 90's production to 7 members with potential interest. Fingers crossed that the group retains a structure strong enough to deliver an album more consistent history of being a more comprehensive level of its mcs.
